A well-known design couple from France who were active in the period from 1940-1950 and were mainly known for the use of natural materials. Wood & rope are characteristic for these designers. Very unique and rare in this complete set of 6 pieces. The frame is made of wood and the seat and backrest have a braided rope seat. Absolutely beautiful & a sustainable design due to the natural materials. These dining room chairs look great in a modern ‘Wabi Sabi’ interior.
