Design from Dutch soil. This special easy chair from Artifort is a design by the French designer Pierre Paulin. Produced in the 1960s by Artifort. This model is no longer in production. This chair was designed for the waiting room of the airline ‘Concorde’. A prestige project of the British and French governments. A beautiful minimalist and timeless design. A wonderful detail is the organic streamlining of the back of the chair. Fully reupholstered in a beautiful gray Ploeg fabric. The contrast of the gray upholstery & sturdy white metal leg make this chair unique. This is the low (ladies) model. Definitely a must have for the design enthusiast with a story. We love it!
