Description

For a collaboration with Bestwelhip, the colorful interior and textile designer Sandra Keja Planken, designed a print fabric on eco textile for some unique vintage furniture. Called the ‘Alpha Owl re-editions’. It is an Eco velvet fabric, printed with Sandra’s quirky ‘nature design print’. The hand-drawn patterns are edited in a collage style & tell her fascination for nature. By bringing vintage pieces from Bestwelhip together with Sandra’s patterns and fabrics, a unique line of re-made editions have been designed. They form a special mini collection with maximalist pieces. Such as the awesome modular seventies sofa from Leolux, which has a groovy character in this version. Re-editions of former table legs from a former restaurant are reused and transformed into playful bar stools, completely reupholstered in Bestwelhip’s upholstery. The Verner Panton chair with Sandra’s unique Owl print is an absolute eye-catcher. All objects together form a design cacophony of exuberance. Pick your piece and play!
