Vintage ‘Womb’ easy chair lounge Eero Saarinen Knoll

What a catch! This lounge chair by Eero Saarinen for Knoll is one of the most stylish chairs ever made. The armchair is also called the ‘Womb chair’. Designed in 1946 and produced from 1952. This is an early model from the 1950s/60s with a black enamelled steel frame. The ottoman was added to the set later, it has a nickel colored frame. An authentic stylish design classic to this day. The design of the chair is inspired by the natural shapes of a cocoon and offers a sense of security and optimal relaxation. The armchair is still equipped with the original fabric (contains some discoloration and vintage traces) and has a thick foam filling. Definitely a must have for the enthusiast. A fantastic set for a well-deserved moment of relaxation. All American baby!
