The material is striking about this sculpture. Pintus is a sculptor specialized in high-quality resin sculptures. This model is most likely made in the 1970s. The statue was made in his own studio in Brussels, Belgium. Beautiful because of the mother-of-pearl effect. Optically, the sculpture appears to be made of stone, but it is made of a synthetic resin.
