Special & rare vintage design side table / side table in Danish / Scandinavian style. A stylish design by Louis van Teeffelen for Webe. Beautiful because of its organic design. Equipped with a nice webbing reading shelf at the bottom. The webbing is still fully intact. Material: teak wood. Period: 1950s/60s. Easy to place due to its modest dimensions. Also – ideal to use as a TV table. In exceptionally good vintage condition. This item looks great in a vintage but also in a sleek modern interior.
Webe was a merger of 2 Dutch companies Walraven & Bevers. Period: from 1930. Known for its modernist style and modern production techniques for that time. From 1950 they became very well known and loved for their beautiful Danish style in teak furniture which is identical to the ‘Danish quality’. Typical Webe features such as the beautiful handles, special organic legs, possibly tile inlay from Ravelli. In the past, but certainly also now, Webe is very popular and absolutely bestwelhip!
