This set of vintage side tables was designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller and dates from the 1960s. Also known as a pedestal table, model 5452. The tables feature the characteristic ‘swag leg’ base with elegantly curved legs that meet at a central foot. The round top forms a beautiful contrast with the organic base. This early edition side table absolutely has a timeless and modern character. Thanks to their compact size, they are versatile and can be used as a side table next to a sofa or armchair. Considering their age, they are still in good vintage condition. An iconic example of American mid-century design where functionality and form come together perfectly. Table time it is!
