Description

Impressive ‘extra low’ Roger Capron ceramic coffee table with Garrigue tiles from France, circa 1960. The handmade Garrigue tiles were produced using a technique where real leaves were pressed into the clay and disintegrated during firing, leaving a finely detailed imprint. The leaves come from “La Garrigue”, a type of vegetation that is only native to the southeast of France, where Roger Capron lived and worked for 60 years. These Garrigue tiles inspired a large series of side-to-eat tables. Is this beautiful piece perfect in your living room? Nature vibes!
