Beautiful because of its simplicity. Theo Ruth was the pioneer of the Artifort design tradition. He made special designs such as this Congo chair and the Penguin chair. In this design he was inspired by a chair from Africa and the chair owes its name to it. The chair consists of a wooden frame in which 2 separate parts hook into each other and both can be disconnected again. Three Congo chairs have been completely re-upholstered in a beautiful two-tone mixed woolen upholstery, 2 armchairs still have the original fabric. Equipped with a wonderful seating comfort.
