Amazing design alert! This special Amoebe highback chair is a design by the well-known Verner Panton. Designed in the 1970s for the famous ‘Visiona’ exhibition. This model was produced by Vitra in the 1990s.
During a furniture fair, a party boat was transformed into a temporary showroom. It resulted in a crazy 70s space full of organic designs from Panton in vibrant colors. The Amoebe chair was an absolute eye-catcher there (and still is). Equipped with a flexible backrest that bends over the head and where you can sit comfortably and secluded, especially in large spaces. This lounge chair sits low to the ground and offers wonderful seating comfort. Thanks to its unique appearance and great comfort, the design is perfect for both formal and informal settings.
Equipped with green leather, the lounge chair is marked with a Vitra label. Considering its age, it is still in good vintage condition. It is special that there are 4 identical copies available.
