Description
Cool Dutch design! This ‘Coconut’ easy chair is a design by the well-known George Nelson. Produced by Vitra. This chair has been given the name coconut because George Nelson compares the design to a coconut that has been chopped into 8 pieces. A nice twist is that Nelson did not make the chair white on the inside like a coconut, but the other way around with dark brown. The organic seat shell of this armchair forms a spacious triangular shell, which ensures wonderful seating comfort. The shell is made of fiberglass plastic. The base of the Coconut Chair forms a triangle, just like the seat shell. The three legs and intermediate support rods are made of chrome-plated tubular steel. The foam that lies on the scale consists of a piece of foam. Absolutely still in a beautiful condition & a must have for design enthusiasts!
