Viva Italy! This special ‘postmodern’ dining room set / office set from the 1970s/80s is absolutely unique. The chairs are designed by the Italian designer Osvaldo Borsani. Produced by Tecno. Model: ‘Mode’. The 5 chairs are made of black plastic with a metal base. A nice detail is the organic shape of the base. Absolutely beautiful timeless design. The chairs are stamped & marked on the bottom. The ‘Modus’ chair was first created in 19762 in Tecno’s own Design Center. These were intended for Tecno’s graphics office. They have a nice seat and are rotatable. The white round dining room table (probably by Pierre Paulin for Artifort) fits nicely with this special set of chairs. The metal ‘tulip’ base matches nicely with the base of the Tecno chairs. A beautiful & stylish combination. Considering its age in a beautiful vintage condition.
