A rare & impressive hanging lamp/chandelier by Nanny Still McKinney for Raak. Nanny Still McKinney is from Finland, she is best known for her colorful glass, but she also made ceramics. She has worked in Finland for Riihimaki (glass), in Germany for Heinrich Porzellan (ceramics), in the Netherlands for Raak design (lamps of different materials) and in Belgium for Val Saint Lambert (glass) where she also lived. She has received several awards for her work. This copy is equipped with 7 beautifully different colored chalice glasses and is still equipped with the original metal ceiling plate & supports. The drop shape is reminiscent of stalactites. Considering its age still in very good vintage condition. Definitely an eye-catcher in the room. Nice for the living room or hall of the lobby of your hotel or restaurant. Be impressed!
