Mario Bellini designed this for C&B Italia (later known as B&B Italia) Model: Amanta. The inside features the original brand label. This is the earlier edition from 1966. It is wonderful to flop down in this modular sofa. Still equipped with the original brown rib fabric. The great thing about this sofa is that you can place all 5 elements entirely according to your own wishes, making multiple combinations and configurations possible. Still equipped with the original corduroy rib fabric and a space age plastic ‘shell’ from Fiberlite. Considering its age, this sofa is in a good vintage condition. Beautiful for the living room, but also ideal as a lounge sofa in the lobby of your hotel or restaurant. Absolutely an iconic sofa in Midcentury Modern & Space age design!
