Rare find, these beautiful Danish dining chairs. They are also called the ‘Compass chair’ and were designed by Kai Kristiansen for SVA Mobler (Svend Aage Madsen). He is known for his timeless and elegant designs. Period: 1960s. Kai Kristiansen’s designs perfectly combine simplicity, functionality and aesthetics. The bottom of the chair is marked. Material: teak. The backrests of these chairs have a striking, slanted “compass” shape, which gives the chairs a unique and recognizable look. The chairs still have the original fabric.
